Ultrasonic (Top Mountable) Fuel sensor is used to detects the level of the fuel
level based on the change in the Level caused by the increase or decrease of
the fuel, which has the characteristics of strong stability and long service
life. Capacitive Fuel sensor is an optional accessories for Vehicle tracker.
JusTrack Fuel Level Sensor used in on-road, off-road commercial
vehicle, generator sets, and industrial applications.
Utilizes Ultrasonic technology to detect liquid level: provides
high resolution (<0.5mm) level detection by measuring the fuel variance as
level changes.
For telematics applications, the Ultrasonic sensor can be
connected to a GPS tracking device. This allows for precise monitoring of
liquid assets, and help to detect fuel usage and possible fuel theft.
How it works:
The device sends sound waves above 20 Hz and these waves bounce
from the surface of the product,
creating an echo that goes back to the sensor.
Then the sensor calculates the time the echo took to return to find out the
level and volume.
